Within the United States there are numerous soccer players that desire to achieve a high level of success yet don’t have access to the proper environment conducive to achieving their goals. It’s no secret that in America the soccer player development system is either lacking or not available to everybody. For example, in the States if your not a member of an MLS academy your destined to seek out and play in another local DA program or youth club and hope that you receive the coaching and competition that will help you achieve your goals. Unfortunately, sometimes even in an MLS academy that is not the case. Its also no secret that if a player really wants to excel in the sport of soccer, the chances of developing into a high level player are greatly increased if he can travel to a foreign country that has a rich history in the sport and he is able to train with a club in that country. Unfortunately most players simply don’t have the access to do that.
We have worked with numerous players at various levels. GSX has placed players into professional clubs in Costa Rica, Spain and worldwide. Below are just some of clubs we have placed players with:
Costa Rica
Spain
While there are currently numerous other companies that offer a similar type of experience. We believe that at GSX we are one of the only companies that provides a complete program that is truly conducive to elite player development and gives the player the opportunity to get training and experience in an elite soccer country and potentially sign his first professional contract. For example, some of the other programs take players from the US and elsewhere and house them all together in a foreign country and their schedule consists of training together daily and playing friendly games against local teams. We believe that the biggest advantage of going to a foreign country is to train and compete with and against local players within their team environment. If you take 25 American kids to another country and have them all train together daily, what are you accomplishing aside from having those training sessions occur in another country? Or if you bring a team full of players all together in a really nice “Academy” in the States and they all live there and train together daily, what benefit is that aside from being housed in a really nice facility?
What we do is very unique in that we place players directly into teams in the respective countries that we operate our program. The players train with the team and are basically treated as a team member aside from being able to play in official games. Then if the player is deemed good enough and the club determines that he can be a value to the team, and the player is eligible to be registered, then the process is started to register the player and make him an official member of the team. This is the primary advantage of our program vs others that are out there. Taking players to Costa Rica or Spain and placing them into a professional team and providing them with additional technical and physical training along with numerous additional services, as we strive to get them signed to their first professional contracts. All of this we are able to do because of the vast experience and connections that the members of our staff possess.
